About Me:
Nina Bhatty has been practicing Mindfulness and Meditation for over 20 years. She has formally studied under the teachings of Self-Realization Fellowship, Art of Living, Spirit Rock, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), MBSR-T (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens) & Mindful Schools. She practices both formally and informally, daily, and has found the practice to be transformative moment-by-moment.
Nina holds Certifications from both Mindful Schools and MBSR-T in California.
Nina has a Masters of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis and currently works as a Social-Relational and Behavior Consultant, Autism Specialist and Consultant, Mindfulness Educator and Reiki Master-Therapist and Teacher. She is passionate about supporting Parents, Educators and lay people with the tools of mindfulness and positive behavior supports for maximizing their highest human potential. She is equally committed to teaching kids and teens, both in the neuro-typical and atypical worlds, how to live and develop from the inside out, so they can navigate their world with more confidence and ease.
In Nina's 20 years in the Mental Health Field, she has found that her clients receiving Mindfulness-Based Interventions and Positive Behavior Modification have made significant gains in not only reducing stress, decreasing or eliminating aggressive behaviors, but also increasing appropriate behaviors and healthy communication, developing more healthy social-relational connections and a sense of overall well-being.
Her quest for learning has always been focused around human connections, the beautiful mind, consciousness and behavior. In her free time, Nina loves traveling, reading, yoga, spending days at the ocean and in nature, dancing and co-creating new experiences with friends and family. She spends some of her time offering complimentary services to non-profits and charities such as Creative Autism Solutions Team, The Friend Tree, Healing the Children and others.
